The NSUBRA design, popular in African markets since 1960, derived its name from the Twi language spoken in West Africa, meaning “water well.” Developed in 1936 by Dutch fabric designer Mr. Piet Snel at Vlisco, this unique pattern consists of various-sized dots arranged in a circular formation. It holds cultural significance, symbolic of the ripple effect of throwing something into a well. This versatile, bold print shirt can be paired with dress pants or blue jeans.
